Bull Fighting (Drama)

Genre: Romance, Comedy

It started as a 3-on-3 basketball competition between two rival schools; an annual event in which the winner would control the 13th Street basketball court for the following year. To everybody's surprise, the 9-year reigning champion, East Sun University, lost this year... and it was all because of one girl. Yi Sheng Xue (Hebe) is the successor of the 13th street and is East Sun's biggest supporter. After a run in with ES's Shen Ruo He (Mike He), who was on his way to the game, was sabotaged by Sheng Xue's gangster troop (Lee Wei is SX's personal bodyguard). After the loss, Sheng Xue blames Ruo He for losing the court and ruining East Sun's name. Now, this game has a new purpose.

Ok... I have finished this one, and it was just an ok, story. Is it a wow factor? No. Is it worth watching? Yes. Try it, then if you can't handle it, it's ok, there are a lot of things to watch here on my list...hehehe...>_<

It Started With A Kiss 2 (Drama)

Genre: Comedy, Romance

Everything that happens after marriage will happen to the newly married couple, Zhi Shu (Joe Cheng) and Xiang Qin (Ariel Lin). A lot of laughs and tears and more casts join the lovable family. What will happen when these two encounter such troubles?

Edit: Aaaaaahhh!!!... It's done!!! I miss them already!!! I can't believe it!!!... I want more!!... I was depressed for like the day after I finished watching it!... I wish ArJoe would do some more things together coz they definitely have a LOT of chemistry together! I love it!
BTW, to those who have seen it and thought the ending could be better, it is all due to the copyright of the manga. The mangaka (the artist Tada Kaoru) died before she could finish the manga. So in respect to the mangaka and for copyright reasons, the director of TKA followed the story and how it was left off... I know, it feels so short but it leaves things to the imagination (perhaps too much...) But anywayz, I still love it!!!... I'll live Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin forever!!

Traces of Love

Genre: Melodrama

Hyun Woo (Yoo Ji Tae), a law student, and Min Joo (Kim Ji Soo), a television director, are very much in love. Engagement takes the love to a whole new level. Hyun Woo tells Min Joo to wait at the cafe on the groundfloor of the mall. As Min Joo waits, the mall collapses with her trapped inside. A few years later, the broken prosecutor Hyun Woo receives a journal with Min Joo's handwriting, showing where to go on their honeymoon. While traveling, Hyun Woo meets Se Jin (Eom Ji Won) that seems to be traveling the same way he is. Coincidence?

I didn't think that this movie would be that good! I was like 'whow'... 'aaahh'...and the like. Writing the synopsis was a little mind boggling 'coz I wanted to tell a few details without actually giving away the whole movie...but heck, I tried. Maybe some tears, here and there. If you liked The Classic, then I think you'll like this.

At first, I thought this was just a cute movie with 2 kids and a dog...oh boy!... I was wrong!.. I was totally in shock!... It broke my heart and made me cry!...T_T... There was also two trailers for this one, I chose the one here so I can give you guys a little bit of heads up... the other one was too happy... so tadaaa... hehehe... TISSUES!.... There is also that little hidden meaning of Love in there...nyahaha...

My Sassy Girl

Based on a true story published on the internet by Kim Ho Sik, this offbeat 2001 romantic comedy stars Kyun Woo (Cha Tae Hyun), an all-around nice guy college student who's on the lookout for love. While his aunt has been trying to set him up on a blind date for ages, Kyun Woo has always come up with a reason to decline, instead hoping to find the woman of his dreams all on his own. What Kyun Woo finds instead, however, is a decidedly different kind of woman. While on the subway, he has a fateful encounter with "The Girl" (Jeon Ji Hyun), a beautiful, but totally plastered young woman. Kyun Woo tries to ignore the girl's drunken antics, but when she ends up calling him "Honey," before promptly passing out, the duty falls upon our protagonist to take responsibility for the young woman since everyone on the train angrily presumes she's his girlfriend.

Oh dear... sooo funny...nyahaha... I think I should watch this again...>_<

When two souls find one another , nothing can tear them apart. Widower Takumi (Nakamura Shidou) lives a quiet life with his six-year-old son Yuji (Takei Akashi) after the loss of wife and mother Mio (Takeuchi Yuko). On the first anniversary of her passing, Takumi and Yuji are taking a walk in the woods when they come across a woman sheltering from a monsoon downpour. She bears an uncanny resemblance to Mio, but has no recollection of who she is or what she is doing there. However, their new life together is interrupted by the discovery of Mio's old diary, which reveals the secrets of her past and how they must say goodbye once more in six weeks time...

A very good movie. If you liked Tada Kimi wo Aishiteru, then I think you would like this movie too. Excellent, excellent excellent!!!!

Genre: Action, Adventure

Azumi (Ueto Aya), an orphan, was raised by samurai master Gessai to be an assassin together with 9 other men. Gessai always told them about a mission that they must accomplish. With warlords rising in war torn Japan, the remaining 5 assassins, Azumi included, from master Gessai's troop goes to work.

Wow, an action movie in here! Yay. I was actually scared of watching this beacuse of the battle scenes and all, but it was, overall, a good movie. There were a lot of familiar faces in here, even though they appear for a short while. Hmm...maybe that's why I was attracted to watch this movie...

Genre: Drama, Music

13 year old piano prodigy Naruse Uta (Narumi Riko) dislikes playing the piano. Her father died mysteriously a few years ago, and now her mother protects Uta's hands, a necessity for a pianist. She meets Kikuna Oto (Matsuyama Ken'ichi), an aspiring pianist going for an audition to a music college. His love for the piano makes Uta realize how music drives people. Then, probably one of the worst things that could happen to a musician, happens to Uta.

Love the ending!!! If anyone has the song and/or the sheets, please contact me!! I wrote the synopsis by the way...nyahahaha....>_<

All My Life

Genre: Romance

Sam and Louie meet aboard the Star Cruise. Despite being strangers and complete opposites, with Sam (Aga Muhlach) being carefree and Louie (Kristine Hermosa) being obsessive-compulsive, they become unlikely acquaintances and eventually friends. Both pained on carrying life's baggage before they took the cruise, Sam and Louie will never be the same person again after. For once in Louie's rigid life, she is living for the moment and Sam lets his free spirit enjoy the ride. But once back to their usual lives, feat sets in. Louie is still healing from a traumatic love relationship, while Sam is still in denial that he fell in love. Fate brings them back together again and this time, it's as if nothing can hold back what their hearts yearn for. Together, they will thread the path of uncertainty and in the end prove to themselves that indeed, the true essence of living is loving.

One of my favorite movies! It is a very touching movie! Have some tissues handy ok! Oh, when watching the music video, please listen to the lyrics of the song (one of my favorites). The song really brings forward the emotions that are in the movie, so please listen closely. Don't worry, the song is in English by the filipino singer Gary Valenciano (if anyone is wondering >_<). Hehehe...

It Started With a Kiss (Drama)

Genre: Romance, Comedy

After an earthquake destroyed Xiang Qin's (Ariel Lin) house, she and her father moved in with the family of her father's college buddy, Uncle Ah Li. To her surprise, the kind and amicable aunt and uncle are the parents of her cold and distant schoolmate Jiang Zhi Shu (Joe Cheng), a genius with an IQ of 200 whom not too long ago rejected her endless crush on him. Will the close proximity give her a second chance to win Zhi Shu's heart? Or, will her love for him end under his cold words? What happens when there is competition for his heart?

I'm one of the millions of people who love this drama!!! Yes!! It's so cool! I love it! I'm gonna be mean hee for a second, but truthfully, It Started With a Kiss is better than Itazura na Kiss (the Japanese Version). Sorry! I know that I have been saying that comparison should stop, but really!!!! Sorry!! I'm gonna crawl up in a ball now and watch ISWAK 2 (They Kiss Again). Yes people! Season 2!!!!

Romantic Princess (Drama)

Genre: Comedy, Romance

Adopted by middle classed parents, Xiao Mai (Angela Zhang) has always had a dream to be an heiress. Who knew that one day this dream would come true. Xiao Mai's biological grandfather is the head of a prestigous aristocratic family and after many years of searching, he finally finds his long lost granddaughter. As she starts her life as an heiress, everyday is filled with excitement, however, everything seems a bit different from what she had imagined them to be, especially with the successor Nan Feng Jin (Wu Zun) lurking around.

Wu Zun!!.... Yeah... This is a great drama!!! I hope they would have a season 2 coz the drama feels short to me. Well, that's just me...nyahaha...

IL Mare

Genre: Romance, Drama

Eun-joo (Jeon Ji Hyeon) moves out of her house "Il Mare", leaving behind a Christmas card for the eventual new owner of the house in 1999. In it she asks him/her to forward any mail of hers to her new address in the city. It is 1997 and Sung-hyun (Lee Jeong Jae), the first owner of "Il Mare" is moving in and finds in his mailbox the Christmas card from Eun-joo. Thinking it was a joke, Sung-hyun leaves her a letter telling her so and reminds her that its 1997 not 1999. Eventually the two realize that they are separated by two years of time but can somehow communicate through the mailbox and begin to form a friendship through their letters.

Sounds familiar? Because this is what the American movie, The Lake House, was based on. But still, we must not compare and contrast both movies. Let us all be open to anything.

The Promise

Genre: Romance, Drama

Daniel (Richard Guttierez) and Andrea (Angel Locsin) grew up in the same home and have been closer than real brothers and sisters ever since. But her father's goodwill to take in Daniel and bring him up does not sit well with her real older brother, who retaliates one day and kicks Daniel out. But by this time, nothing can come between the deeply in love Andrea and Daniel anymore--until the rich family on whose hacienda they've been working all these years come back. Andrea catches the eye of the rich son, while the daughter fancies Daniel, too. This will set in motion a series of events that will test how deep the two's love goes.

YES! Something from the mother land!!! I'm surprised that this movie made a move on me. Wow, that rarely happens with a Filipino movie. But anywayz, this was based on Ellis Bell's, a.k.a Emily Bronte, book Wuthering Heights. I've read the other sister's book, now I'm intruiged with this. Wahahaha.... 'Promise?'...naks...

My Girl and I

Genre: Drama

Su-ho (Cha Tae Hyun), a simple teenager, and Su-eun (Song Hye Gyo), a pretty and popular girl, start dating. Their love is for each other seems eternal. By leaving messages to each other on the phone, and through their many times together, their love grows stronger. Until a tragic event occurs.

This is the Korean remake of the Japanese movie, Crying out Love, in the Center of the World. Try not to compare both movies, for I think each movie has it's own "oomph", so just a tip, so you wouldn't ruin it for yourself. Oh, and Song Hye Gyo in the movie!...weee!

Innocent Steps

Genre: Comedy, Drama, Dance

Na Young Se (Park Keon Hyeung) was Korea's best dance instructor. When his partner and lover went to someone else, plus with the incident in the dance competition, he stopped dancing and coming out of his apartment. But he decided to give it another shot. Jang Chae Rin (Moon Geun Yeong) posed as her sister to save her from a fake marriage. Now Young Se's skill would be put to the test to turn an awkward hill billy to a professional dancer.

Cha Cha Cha! hehehe... This was a pretty good movie: with some laughter, awww, argh and yay moments!...hehehehe
