Winter Sonata (Drama)

Synopsis:

Genre: Romance, Drama

Winter Sonata begins when Joon-sang (Bae Yong Jun) moves to a new high school in search for his biological father. Yu-jin (Choi Ji Woo) and Sang-hyuk (Park Yong Ha) have been close childhood friends; though Sang-hyuk wants to be more than a friend, Yu-jin sees him merely as a brother. On a trip together with other high school mates, Oh Chelin (Park Sol Mi), Jin-suk (Lee Hye Eun) and Yong-kuk (Ryu Seung Soo), Yu-jin is saved after an accident by Joon-sang. Afterwards, they become close to each other and she opens up his cold heart. However, circumstances and fate dictate that their love will never be. He abruptly disappears from their lives.
Ten years later the old High School buddies gather together to celebrate Yu-jin and Sang-hyuk's soon-to-be wedding. Yu-jin, who was deeply in love with Joon-sang, still has a fire in her heart for him even though he's been out of her life for a decade. But at the party, Oh Chelin's new boyfriend arrives, who appears the same as Joon-sang. Could it be him or is Yu-jin only dreaming?

My Progress:
I have read a lot of good reviews about this drama and my cousin also recommended it. I'm still watching this one, and so far, it has attracted my attention. I wanted to finish this before my birthday (but it didn't happen!) but I wanted to post something on my birthday, so here we go!!

Aaaaah! Another sad drama! But in the end, ......, shhh.... can't tell! Hmm... there were a lot of crying in here, so I wonder if Choi Ji Woo's (Yu-jin) eyes were swollen the whole time... hmm... Anywayz, it's a pretty good drama, especially for the fans of Bae Yong Jun.

Moon Child

Synopsis:

Genre: Action, Drama

In the year 2014, Japan has collapsed economically and thus its people emigrated in large numbers and settled in other parts of the world. In a corner in Asia, there is a little city called Mallepa, a big melting pot where Asians such as Hongkongers, Taiwanese and Japanese live together. It was a place where people fought for order, food and freedom. It was there where Shou (Gackt), raised as an orphan and Kei (Hyde), who could live forever, met and became the best of friends. However, they were unable to escape from the fight for power involving gangs of different ethnicity on the city of Mallepa. How can one live when living requires a gun?

The poster does not really show anything that would be scary, so don't let the poster scare you away, ok! This was actually an interesting movie! Love the action scenes with Gackt and Hyde...hehehe... Sometimes it gets bloody but anybody can handle that... and there were a lot of killing, so be careful. But all in all, a pretty good movie... kind of sad too... awww!!... If you're a fan of Hyde, visit Kagen no Tsuki here on my blog!!

Waaaa!! A Japanese-Korean collaboration!! It's so cool to see Lee Jun Ki speak in Japanese and Miyazaki Aoi in Korean!! It's a sweet movie! I love the collaboration!! So cool!! There were alos those little but funny bits of comedy that breaks the tension just a little bit. Hehehe...>_<

Bull Fighting (Drama)

Synopsis:
Genre: Romance, Comedy

It started as a 3-on-3 basketball competition between two rival schools; an annual event in which the winner would control the 13th Street basketball court for the following year. To everybody's surprise, the 9-year reigning champion, East Sun University, lost this year... and it was all because of one girl. Yi Sheng Xue (Hebe) is the successor of the 13th street and is East Sun's biggest supporter. After a run in with ES's Shen Ruo He (Mike He), who was on his way to the game, was sabotaged by Sheng Xue's gangster troop (Lee Wei is SX's personal bodyguard). After the loss, Sheng Xue blames Ruo He for losing the court and ruining East Sun's name. Now, this game has a new purpose.

Ok... I have finished this one, and it was just an ok, story. Is it a wow factor? No. Is it worth watching? Yes. Try it, then if you can't handle it, it's ok, there are a lot of things to watch here on my list...hehehe...>_<

It Started With A Kiss 2 (Drama)

Synopsis:

Genre: Comedy, Romance

Everything that happens after marriage will happen to the newly married couple, Zhi Shu (Joe Cheng) and Xiang Qin (Ariel Lin). A lot of laughs and tears and more casts join the lovable family. What will happen when these two encounter such troubles?

Edit: Aaaaaahhh!!!... It's done!!! I miss them already!!! I can't believe it!!!... I want more!!... I was depressed for like the day after I finished watching it!... I wish ArJoe would do some more things together coz they definitely have a LOT of chemistry together! I love it!
BTW, to those who have seen it and thought the ending could be better, it is all due to the copyright of the manga. The mangaka (the artist Tada Kaoru) died before she could finish the manga. So in respect to the mangaka and for copyright reasons, the director of TKA followed the story and how it was left off... I know, it feels so short but it leaves things to the imagination (perhaps too much...) But anywayz, I still love it!!!... I'll live Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin forever!!

I didn't think that this movie would be that good! I was like 'whow'... 'aaahh'...and the like. Writing the synopsis was a little mind boggling 'coz I wanted to tell a few details without actually giving away the whole movie...but heck, I tried. Maybe some tears, here and there. Wow, an action movie in here! Yay. I was actually scared of watching this beacuse of the battle scenes and all, but it was, overall, a good movie. There were a lot of familiar faces in here, even though they appear for a short while. Hmm...maybe that's why I was attracted to watch this movie...

One of my favorite movies! It is a very touching movie! Have some tissues handy ok! Oh, when watching the music video, please listen to the lyrics of the song (one of my favorites). The song really brings forward the emotions that are in the movie, so please listen closely. Don't worry, the song is in English by the filipino singer Gary Valenciano (if anyone is wondering >_<). Hehehe...
